Consider this: Black entrepreneurs are making significant strides in business and innovation, with the number of Black-owned businesses in the United States increasing by over 30% from 2014 to 2019, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. Moreover, Black students are achieving higher levels of academic excellence, with a notable increase in Black high school graduation rates from 69% in 2011 to 78% in 2016, as reported by the National Center for Education Statistics.
