Making Agriculture Cool

A program designed to engage high school students in agriculture and promote the USDA 1890 College Scholarship Program. Our program utilizes the power of hip-hop music production, lyric writing, and video production to activate students' creativity and promote social-emotional learning, English language arts, and food and nutrition goals.

Refresh Collective, featuring DJ Doc Harrill, will facilitate the program at East Tech High School. Our program will use fresh food hip-hop music and video to engage students. Through our program, students will learn about the importance of agriculture, healthy eating, and sustainable living.

Students will have the opportunity to create their own hip-hop music and videos that incorporate fresh food and agriculture themes. They will also have the opportunity to learn from industry professionals and experts in the field of agriculture.

Making Agriculture Cool is an excellent opportunity for students to develop important life skills while also learn about the importance of agriculture and healthy living. The program is designed to be accessible and engaging for all students, regardless of their background or experience level.

We are committed to promoting the 1890 Scholars Program and helping Cleveland's High School students succeed in all aspects of their lives. We invite you to explore our website to learn more about other programs and services and to find out how you can get involved in supporting our mission.

Thank you for considering Making Agriculture Cool as your partner in promoting agriculture and sustainable living through hip-hop music and video production.
