Competitive Change Training Center is a program designed to build a sustainable workforce that values and promotes diversity in the construction, early childhood education, and health and safety industries. Our mission is to provide participants with extensive knowledge and training in their chosen certification track, as well as information on job outlook and market trends, to more effectively market their newly acquired skills beyond job placement.

The construction industry faces a significant shortage of people and skills, with not enough capacity to deliver the growing pipeline of construction projects. Shortages run across the trades and professions, including plumbers, electricians, builders, engineers, planners, and project managers. At the Competitive Change Training Center, we recognize the importance of providing access to training and employment opportunities to those who have been historically underrepresented in these industries.

Our training program targets minorities and provides workshops and hands-on training in basic construction and maintenance, preparing participants to gain employment with our partner businesses. We also offer driver license assistance, OSHA national safety certification, and lead abatement training to ensure participants have the necessary skills and certifications to succeed in their chosen field.

We believe in creating a diverse and inclusive workforce that values the unique contributions of each individual, regardless of race, gender, or background. Through our program, we aim to break down barriers to employment and provide opportunities for personal and professional growth to individuals who may have otherwise been overlooked.
